FIRST 9 HOLES

The first is a great starting hole. The short hole eases golfers into their round with a straightforward drive to a generous fairway. The green though, presents a challenge with its tight approach and undulations. It offers a good chance to start off your round with a par or better!

This par 5 is a fair hole to all handicappers. The entire hole can be seen from the tee. For long hitters, it offers a chance to reach the green in two, while the shorter hitters have a good chance to make a good score the more traditional way. Its green is narrow and two tiered, making it essential you put your approach shot on the right level!

One of Valley View’s most challenging holes! All uphill after your drive, you’ll need to add a club or two to your blind shot into the green. Protected by bunkers on each side, the 3rd hole is not an easy par!

After the difficult 3rd, the 4th hole is a also a challenge. Although short in distance for a par 4, it is a tight driving hole with a sloping fairway. Most second shots require one from a side hill lie! the green is generous and receiving, but do not miss right of the green or you will have a difficult up and down!

The 5th hole is another tight driving hole! A slight dogleg requires drives to be accurate or you will have a difficult shot into the narrow sloping green. Depending on the pin location, making two putts can be might be a challenge! A very fun par 4!

Valley View’s first par three! This hole is protected by a bunker and mounding around the green, so your shot needs to be high and land soft. If not the ball can run off the back of the green making for another difficult up and down. One of the course’s less undulating greens.

The 7th hole is where the golf course gets it name. All downhill, this hole offers your a view of the hills behind the Mohawk Valley! A long par 4 plays short because of the elevation drop and offers players a receptive green to hit into. A good chance to gain a stroke!

The 8th hole is all about the green! A fairly straightforward drive leads to a daunting second shot into a small severely sloping two tiered green protected by a bunker. Make two putts and you’ll be happy!

A downhill drive leads to another downhill shot into the green. The green is protected by trees, two bunkers and slopes front to back, causing the ball to run a way from the green to a collection area in the back. Land the ball short of the green and let it roll on for a chance to get it close to the hole!
