SECOND 9 HOLES

The back nine begins with the straightforward 10th. A short par 4 that is slightly uphill, your second shot will be into an elevated green protected by trees. Though the green is rather flat, it is very shallow so you distance must be accurate!

This hole is another downhill drive that needs to be placed in the right area on the fairway. Too far right and your second shot into the green will be blocked by trees. Don’t miss the green to the left though or you’ll be in a deep bunker. This hole requires two good shots in a row to make a good score!

The 12th starts off with blind tee shot that swings severely from left to right. A good fade is required to keep the ball from going through the fairway. The second shot is rather short, but it is into another undulating green so you must be good with the putter!

This hole is a long par 4, usually into the wind so give it all you have when you drive the ball to this generous fairway. A long second shot into a large receptive green gives you a good chance at making par!

Another par 3 at Valley View! This one requires you to carry the ball the entire way as the green is elevated and protected by a bunker on the right side. Miss to the left side of the green and the ball could roll off the false front of the green. A great par 3!

This a short straight away par 4 that requires and accurate tee shot. Too far left and your in the woods and too far right you have a second shot that will be blocked by trees. The green is protected by a bunker and has several mounds within the green itself. Another good chance to get a stroke back!

Another short par 4 with a blind tee shot leads to a shallow, but receptive green guarded by a bunker. If you hit a good drive, it will lead to a short second shot and a good chance at birdie!

17 is a downhill par 5 that is reachable in two. If you take the risk to go for it, you can miss to the right or the left as the terrain slopes away from the green. Both sides risk losing a ball so be careful in your decision making. If played right, it offers another good chance to gain a shot back!

The finishing hole at Valley View is a par 3! A green that is guarded by a tree and bunker makes the golfer shape his iron shot in order to get it close to the hole. Make sure you get it on the right tier of the green to have an easier putt!
